Borden’s Dairy workers in Tennessee have doubled their strength at the bargaining table by combining two contracts into one and winning historic wage increases as a result. RWDSU members at the Chattanooga and Knoxville plants have ratified a new three-year agreement together, which came as the result of solidarity across two locations – proving that what it means to be in a union goes well beyond the pages of a contract.
RWDSU Local 1102 members at Animal Care Centers (ACC) of New York City—those on the front lines of caring for the city’s most vulnerable pets and strays—have won a new three-year union contract that reflects their essential work and unwavering compassion.

A new three-year agreement protecting commissions, raising wages, and securing medical benefits, has been unanimously ratified by Local 1102 members at Saks Fifth Avenue in the 8th Floor Women’s Designer Shoe Department. Members who work at the department store’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship location in Manhattan also have won the opportunity to enroll in the union medical plan.
